Stumbling Husband - "How I Hurt My Shoulder" Story Contest Winner for January

We are happy to announce the winner of our shoulder injury story contest for January, Natasha Vargas! She shares her story of a new years eve celebration gone wrong.

"My then husband and I went to my brother in-laws house to celebrate New Year’s. My husband got heavily intoxicated. We didn’t even make it to midnight.

Upon arriving home, he sloppily stumbled his way up the walk way and onto the front porch coming to rest with his head and body slumped on the front door. I told him to hold onto the frame as I unlocked the door. He disregarded my heed, and when I turned the handle and the door gave he fell into the house. Only the kerosene heater was right there and he was heading straight for it.

So in an instant I reached out with my right arm catching him on one side throwing off his trajectory, and sent him falling onto the living room rug missing the heater and the disaster that might have come from it. As soon as I grabbed him, and his full weight caught my arm I felt a pop, and a slip, and a sting of pain as my shoulder dislocated, and in letting go of him snapped back into place all in the matter of seconds. Life time of pain, I should of let him fall."

To thank Natasha for her story, we'll be sending her a free shoulder pulley of her choice. If you want to win any of our rangemaster products, submit your story on our website today!
